1st Method: Open it in another program.
A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case.pcb. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. PCB files hold custom settings so I doubt you will find the lost presentation there. You MIGHT want to look for a PPT.TMP file where. is a number.
When you double-click CGM files, your computer attempts to open it in a program associated with CGM files. If there’s no program associated with CGM files on your computer, the file won’t open. To open the file, download one of the most popular programs associated with CGM files such as Computer Graphics Metafile [New Style] or Computer Graphics Metafile [Old Style].
2nd Method: Take a hint from the file type.
The CGM file extension usually indicates it's under the umbrella of Vector Image Files. However, if it’s another file type, it might not open with one of the programs listed above. Take the following steps to find the file type:

3rd Method: Check with the developer.
So you’ve tried using a different program, you’ve confirmed the file type, and your CGM file still won’t open. Even if these methods were unsuccessful, you might still be able to reach out to a software developer for help. 4th Method: Open it in a universal file viewer.
